Accountant/Bursar

Hillside School Utawala wishes to recruit a highly motivated and competent individual to fill the position of Accountant/Bursar.

Responsibilities

1. Preparation of financial statements e.g. budget estimates, monthly or quarterly income statements etc.
2. Issuing serialized and official school receipts for money or goods received by the school.
3. Payroll administration.
4. Making all authorized and supported payments from school funds.
5. Keeping of books of accounts in accordance with the accounting instructions for educational institutions.
6. Handling petty cash.

Qualifications

1. Must possess CPA part 2
2. Should have 4 years’ experience in a similar set-up.
3. Should be computer literate especially in accounting packages.
